Account Executive/Outside Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to join our team as an Outside Account Executive. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and has a passion for sales. Experience in the aggregate or mining industry is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Attend industry events and trade shows
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure technical requirements for customers are met
• Work with local customers to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
• Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales
• Maintain appropriate relationship with key suppliers.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work independently
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• A self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to succeed
• Experience in the aggregate or mining industry is preferred, but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Team oriented, outgoing, positive personality with superior problem-solving skills
• Travel to customers
• Work experience in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel
• Driver’s License, with a good driving record, and dependable transportation
• Business or related degree a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
